The U.S. Marine Corps has established its first medium-range missile battalion at Camp Lejeune, integrating the NMESIS platform to complement traditional artillery and expand tactical capabilities.

As the service's first medium missile battalion, the 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, will be equipped with NMESIS as a complement to its artillery.

Bulky gloves can cut hand dexterity by up to 80%. The U.S. Army's Personal Heating Dexterity Device uses heated forearm sleeves to boost blood flow, keeping fingers warm and functional in freezing conditions.

U.S. Marine Corps Col. Jonathan Smith, deputy commander of Marine Corps Information Command, and his son, Pfc. Ethan Smith, a new Marine with Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, hold the Eagle, Globe and Anchors from the day they earned their title as Marines on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. The backing of Col. Smith’s EGA features two key dates—July 2, 1997, and September 26, 2026—commemorating when he and his son each became Marines.
