The San Antonio Food Bank provides food and services to more than 530 partner agencies in 16 counties throughout Southwest Texas. Our service area reaches north to Kerrville, south to LaSalle, west to Uvalde, and east to Seguin.
Food drives are critical to the Food Bank's ongoing mission to collect and redistribute millions of pounds of food to individuals and families in Southwest Texas who don’t know where their next meals are coming from. Donations are voluntary and go towards helping a network of 90,000 individuals we serve weekly.
The Food Drive will start 06 December and run through 22 December. Though donations are completely voluntary, all HSC Soldiers and Civilians are welcome to participate by providing healthy non-perishable items. This drive is not intended for trainees. Attached you will find a flyer with the 12 most needed items. In addition to food, we will also be accepting baby diapers (any size) and dog food.
Thank you in advance for your support in the fight to end hunger in our local community!
