Be advised that candidates for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC) are not required to file registration
documents with the Office of Campaign Finance.

Registration for ANC candidates is completed by our Office
based on the list of candidates we receive from the Board of
Elections. There is no registration requirement on the part
of the ANC candidate.

OCF participated in ANC 4D's Fall Festival in the Petworth neighborhood at Gallatin St., and Illinois Ave. N.W. last weekend. The District's Office of Disability Rights presented OCF with an informative PowerPoint presentation and answered questions about laws governing the rights of people with disabilities. OCF Issues Order on Complaint against Councilmember Brandon Todd

In the matter of the complaint filed by Emily Naden, The Office of Campaign Finance has issued a fine of $4,000 against Councilmember Brandon Todd for the prohibited use of District of Columbia Government resources for campaign related activity during the 2018 Special Election for Ward 4 State Board of Education. This is in violation of D.C. Official Code Section 1-1163.36(a).

The amount of the fine may be reduced by $2,000 provided the councilmember attends Ethics Training at the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability within sixty (60) days of the issuance of this Order.

The Office of Campaign Finance in partnership with the DC Board of Elections took its Community Outreach efforts
to the SOME Employment Training Center at 4430 Benning Rd., N.E. OCF's Supervisory Training Officer
Deloris Ramsey presented trainees with the agency's mission to regulate and provide public disclosure of the financial operations of those candidates and committees in both the traditional private financing and the public financing programs, and the Constituent Service and Statehood Programs to ensure public trust in the integrity of the election process and government service. OCF's Natasha Alexander and April Williams were also on hand. BOE's Outreach Specialist LaDawne White provided participants with Voter Registration information and opportunities for election workers.

Established within the DC Board of Elections, OCF administers and enforces the District of Columbia laws pertaining to campaign finance operations, lobbying activities, conflict of interest matters, the ethical conduct of public officials, and constituent service and statehood fund programs.
