Our 4th grade students had a chance to try out weaving in a fun and simple way using several colors in their designs. They tapped into their creativity with making their own individual God’s Eye.
A God’s Eye is an object made by weaving a design out of yarn using a wooden cross. This art was practiced by the Huichol and Tepehuan Americans of western Mexico. It is an ancient cultural symbol thought to bring luck to newborns.

He also presented his work to two art classes and talked about traveling all over the world. Thank you for visiting Sela
