Today, I cosponsored legislation to award the Congressional Gold Medal to the 13 U.S. military service members who were killed in action in Afghanistan last week. I continue to pray for their families and loved ones across our nation who are grieving such a devastating loss.

We will always remember the American heroes who bravely stood up to defend the freedoms our nation was founded upon. We owe all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.

Good evening everyone—thank you for joining our Child Tax Credit Town Hall! I am so glad you are able to take the time to engage with our office and learn more about the expanded #ChildTaxCredit. There is a special place in every parents' heart for summer with our children. My son, Jordan, used to put on his little cleats and a big hat, running out onto the field to play Tee Ball with his friends on Saturday mornings.

Summer is for hard-working parents to spend time with the little ones they love most. It is for our children to grow and live and play. The #ChildTaxCredit means more money for Georgia families as they support their children.

It would be a good thing if the House Judiciary Committee would hold hearings on the case fixing that is going on in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago that is currently being swept under the rug. The case fixing has been disclosed by a retired federal judge who was a member of the 7th Circuit. The corruption in the 7th Circuit is so bad that the Clerk of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals refuses to acknowledge receipt of a recent judicial misconduct complaint submitted against Judge Michael S. Kanne for fixing a decision from a civil rights case to protect rogue police.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago is currently sweeping information about case fixing under the rug by a judge who fixed a decision in a civil rights case. I recently submitted a judicial misconduct complaint against the judge, Michael S. Kanne. Retired judge Richard A. Posner disclosed Kanne's case fixing. The corruption in the Seventh Circuit is so bad that the clerk refuses to follow the rule and acknowledge the complaint. This clearly shows that the fix is in. The House Judiciary Committee needs to investigate this. If you would like to know about the corruption going on, contact me.

So Rep. Mcbath.. What's you take on the events caused by your party.... Your silence is deffening
Concede Nothing By John Burl Smith The overarching principle of the Democratic Party in today’s political environment should be “concede nothing.” As the only legitimate political party that still claims to represent the interest of the American people, Democrats should be dedicated to exposing and defeating those determined to undermine America’s democracy. Republicans, since the ascension of Donald Trump, as their leader, have turned their backs on the bedrock principle of democracy—one man one vote. Democrats are the only organized political force in America standing between a total takeover of the United States by a petit-dictator—Donald Trump. His failed coup d’état, following his election loss and his attempted insurrection on January 6th, sealed his fate as the greatest threat to democratic government in America. Facing this mortal threat to our nation, Democrats must mound a life or death defense of democracy or bow down to authoritarianism and white supremacy. Challenged by such a fate Democrats should “concede nothing” to such a greedy, undemocratic and totally evil cabal. Democrats must fight to take back every inch of authority and responsibility Republicans under Trump have gained. Democrats must oppose them, even in places where they face incredible odds, in states where it seems Republicans hold super-majorities, because there are Americans in those states who deserve representation and would vote to defend democracy, if given a chance. And, that is why Democrats must not concede anything to Republicans. The American people face a battle between those who believe in the democratic process and want to preserve the liberties free and fair elections give the United States of America and those that do not. Today Republicans have thrown the proposition of “one man one vote” under the bus, as they continue to support Donald Trump’s attempted coup, insurrection on 1/6 and the “BIG LIE,” he continues to push. Americans, especially Democrats, who are confused about what everyday citizens' roles are in the present crisis need only look back and remember how the American experiment began. They must draw on why this experiment began. Only an idea at its inception, and not an objective fact, like the rising of the sun each morning, but it became a new hope for a new nation and millions. Some arrived in America by choice, but millions were kidnapped and forced aboard slave ships and brought to what has become known as “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” Whether true in all of its statements today, those statements are the hopes Democrats are now charged with defending. Democrats did not ask for this fight, and would probably prefer to “pass the cup to someone else to drink,” but Democrats are the end of the line! This is a time when each true American must stand, without looking to the right or to the left, because it matters not who stands with you, your stand is what counts. Other nations have reached this point, and many turned away and surrendered to the fear tyrants generate, like Germany. However, after millions died, Germans still had to make the same fight. So the question for Americans is; do you fight the bully today or later? The idea Americans are fighting over began in the heads of those who attended the First Continental Congress held on September 5th through October 26, 1774. Their thoughts grew into the concept of representative government based on “one man one vote.” It goes without saying, as I pointed out earlier, everyone was not included in this experiment at that point, however the idea was born and once alive, it grew and became the idea that Americans of all racial description, economic status and political inclinations are fighting to reestablish preserve and today. This time around today however, “one man or person, one vote” is the thread that the American experiment hangs by, not the flag, the Congress or the military. It was the Constitution which brought the idea to life and made the vote the one inviolable principle everything else rests on, even its laws. This statement is the point of everything we are engaged in today, as a society; preserving the vote is the one thing holding this nation together. If, as American citizens, we give that up, we will concede all rights as individuals and a society. We will concede to a dictator the right to make decisions about the kind of society we want for our families and ourselves. “Concede Nothing!!!!” which will diminish our ability to decide for ourselves the kind of life we deserve and want. As a descendant of American slavery, I look back at my great great-grandfather Burl Lee, the last slave in the Lee family and his son Burl Lee, Jr., the first Lee born out of slavery and I continually draw strength from their struggles. That fight passed to my grandparents, which came to me through my mother, Mrs. Willie May Gray. As the family gather around her on July 14th for her 101st birthday, she was still demanding we fight to hold on to the rights descendants of American slavery have gained over the last 400 years. Her clarion call to “concede nothing,” in regards to the vote, is a right she talks proudly, while recanting fighting for and acquiring the right to vote, which her parents never experienced. Our fight today is different but the same, because it is about securing protection for the “one person one vote” principle so many gave up liberty and lives, as they refuse to concede anything to people like Donald Trump and todays’ Republicans. The fight today is not about Americans like my mother or me, not even my children, but my grandchildren and great grandchildren, they are the ones the vote will mean so much to their future. Conceding power to Republicans will be a continual march backward to their great grandfathers’ times. Make no mistake about it, Republicans mean to carry America back to a time that reflects conditions before the Civil War and the times that produced Plessy v Ferguson (1897) segregation, when a white man’s word alone was law. That time I call “The Dark Age” angry white men mob madness period in America, went descendants of American slavery’s lives hung on the whim of any white man, and the vote was denied with a rope. I will not concede anything to people who see those times as the “good old days,” and a period Republicans are demanding America should return. I say to Democrats “concede nothing” to insurrectionists, modern day autocrats, terrorists and coup deniers, who believe they can intimidate Democrats, so much so, they will not fight voter suppression laws and the “BIG LIE!!!” If democrats concede anything to Republicans under the guise of bipartisanship, they will be giving Republican obstructionist tactics legitimacy. More importantly, conceding anything to Republicans will only be concessions Democrats will have to fight to take back at a later point. The current war is not over winning or losing races, but is a fight to save American democracy and the first thing Republicans must kill is the sanctity and access to the vote. Concede nothing!!!!!
Please tell our president the border must me closed. Closed. No more people shuttled, bused or flown to other cities and states. Shut the border. Please.
As one of your constituents, I reject the elimination of the Hyde Amendment from the spending bill. All that means is more innocent unborn lives lost. Consider this case:
Representative McBath, I have a few suggestions on getting us out of this horrendous COVID cycle. 1) Stop federal unemployment assistance for anyone unvaccinated. 2) Stop paying for the hospital stays for those who have severe COVID due to the fact they were unvaccinated. 3) Lastly, we need a new lump sum payment of say 1200.00 for everyone above 12 yrs old who IS VACCINATED. Using the stick and carrot approach just might work, if it isn't too late.
What a privilege we have to be able to go directly to Our Father and pray and what a privilege we have in our country to be able to pray openly and serve Our Lord. It has been the privilege of our church, Wagontown Union Chapel, to uphold you in prayer. Wagontown Union Chapel is an independent, Bible believing, evangelical church that seeks to glorify God by exalting Him in worship, by equipping believers for service for Him, and by telling the world the good news of Jesus Christ. Wagontown Union Chapel Pastor Tim Crans 469 West Kings Highway P.O. Box 200 Wagontown, PA 19376 1 Timothy encourages us to pray for all those in authority. With that scripture in mind, our church is committed to praying for each and every Congressman/woman. Psalms 2 says Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling. That is our prayer, that you would be wise and that Our Lord would guide you and direct you as you make decisions, as you vote in committee and as you vote on the House floor. May God bless you as you serve and may God bless the United States of America. Proverbs 2 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 3 Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, 4 If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; 8 He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.
