Fill fridges around the DC, Maryland, Virginia community with nutritious, restaurant prepared meals.

Donate here: https://www.4giving.com/F05B

Feed the Fridge is an effort to bring nourishment where there is hunger while helping small, local restaurants stay in business.
All meals are free for community members to take. No sign-ups and no questions asked.

All of the money raised is poured back into the local economy because we pay local restaurants for every meal that stocks the fridges.

Our donors saw the impact we were making on the community during the pandemic. We delivered meals to the elderly who could not leave their homes. We expanded as quickly as we could to get meals right to the people.

Donors should support Feed the Fridge because we are feeding the local community while supporting the local economy. We use the restaurant's expertise to bring the meals directly to the people. Your neighbors are hungry and they need more than a box of raw goods from the food pantry. Many people are unable to cook for themselves. Our program provides nutritious meals without the shame of waiting in line to possibly be turned away because all of the boxes have been taken. We stock our fridges every week day.

You Don't Have To Play But You Can Support the Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament

Support groups include All Cancers, Bereavement, Caregivers, Bladder Cancer, Breast Cancer, GI Cancers, Men’s All Cancers, and several others ranging from general cancer to type-specific. We are proud of offer over 50 support group sessions each month.

Hello! I love that you all have gone completely electronic for applications for health care workers. However, there is no place for new APRN’s to apply for a new license. Does that mean this application needs to be on paper. I’ve sent two emails, was on hold for 55 minutes today, and opened up two separate cases with the IT renewal website but nothing yet. How can this be rectified? Any info would be great! Thanks

The Death Racket and the Death Certificate Racket coming out of the DC Vital Records and DC Health!

[email protected]

Thu, May 20 at 5:11 PM

My daughter Tasha Ruffin was found dead on 1/15/2021 in Washington D.C. Her body was held in the medical examiners' office. I contacted the DC detective John Shell mistakenly told me that she was found dead on the street and died of a he**in overdose, afterward corrected himself she died at 1200 Delaware Avenue SW and her "friend refused to return to me her cell phones, I reported it to the detective who mentioned putting me in touch with the department that would handle the boyfriends' refusal to hand over my daughter's cellphones, and he never did. Later the Medical examiners' office confirmed she died of Covid complications.

The funeral home Heaven Bound Cremation did not contact me although all of my contact information was given to the medical examiner's office, the funeral cremation center filled out my daughter's death certificate with misinformation.
Trying to get the death certificates for myself and my 3 grandkids (Tasha's kids) was wrought with a lot of confusion and mismanagement. and high cost!

On 4/2/2021 I filed via vital check for 2 death certificate copies paying $71.95 then 39.95 for express delivery totaling $119.90

The certificates were sent to me but were incorrect in several areas.

On 5/1/2021- I filed for amended death certificates to have the corrected information costing $8.00 for notary fee and $9.00 to mail documentation.

On 5/11/2021 I filed a second time for an amended death certificate to have the correct information on her death certificates. Costing me another $8.00 notary fee and $9.00 to send Priority mail.

On 5/20/2021 I get a call from DC Health.gov that Tiffany who helped me to complete the form the second time told me to do it wrong, I was directed by this individual Tiffany to send the file to her but another person called Ms. Martin 5/20/2021 who did not know what was previously sent and why I was having to explain the whole thing all over again and was told by Ms. Martin that what was done was wrong! Now a third time working to get my daughter's death certificates since 1/15/2021, I was angered!

I was allowed to process and purchase the death certificates but at another cost ( never mind I had previously paid $119.90) I was charged $59.00 to get the two certificates, they would not give me credit for my previous payments and only charge me the processing fee of $23.00.

To date, I have been overcharged and have been made to pay paid in total: $212.90 due to Vital records and DC Health's ineptness!
They are making death records a money-making racket and it should have not been this complicated! I have gotten financially taken!

Please expose and investigate

I'm more than a little frustrated that you are aggressively encouraging more pre-registrations, dangling the promise of the possibility of getting a vaccine right away in the next available round of appointments when there are those of us who have been qualified for WEEKS and have been shut out repeatedly, and now by the computer's random algorithm. It's really disgraceful that you are flooding the list when you can't manage the people already on it.
