Special thanks to my academic advisors, professors, entrepreneurial coaches, executive mentors, family, and like-minded friends. The journey was academic, the mission is global and borderless, focused on entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur connections, business expansion, SMEs empowerment, and international business strategies powered by knowledge, people, and purpose
My Thesis-Capstone Project focused on empowering SMEs in Egypt 🇪🇬 and the MENA region in alignment with the World Bank’s vision by mapping and benchmarking the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Singapore 🇸🇬, Turkey 🇹🇷, Morocco 🇲🇦, and South Korea 🇰🇷 to strengthen SMEs empowerment in Egypt, innovation, digital economy transformation, competitiveness, sustainable economic growth, and meaningful contribution to the World Bank’s mission across Egypt and the MENA region
Key focus areas of my thesis- Capstone Project included, but were not limited to:
1. Supporting Egypt’s 🇪🇬 Government Vision 2030, SDGs, NPPs, National Quality Infrastructure (NQI), logistics competitiveness, and sustainable private sector growth
2. Strategic alignment with World Bank priorities, SMEs ecosystem mapping, benchmarking, and digital economy transformation initiatives across Egypt and the MENA region
3. Empowering Egypt’s SME transformation framework through innovation, competitiveness, and enterprise modernization
4. Financial inclusion, FinTech integration, digital banking, digital marketing, and mobile financing strategies for SMEs in Egypt
5. Job creation, youth economic empowerment, enterprise development mapping, and entrepreneurial empowerment initiatives
6. Human capital development through vocational training, skills transformation, enterprise readiness, workshops, study tours, and World Bank exposure programs
7. Promoting Women’s economic empowerment Initiatives, integrating Egyptian women into the global economic empowerment agenda, businesswomen leadership, emerging entrepreneurs integration, and their role in macroeconomic and GDP growth
8. Benchmarking Singaporean 🇸🇬, South Korean 🇰🇷, Moroccan 🇲🇦, and Turkish 🇹🇷 SME models, including lessons learned and strategic adaptation frameworks for Egypt
9. Egyptian SMEs challenges, executive policy solutions, institutional reform opportunities, sustainable competitiveness strategies, and national impact initiatives
10. Egypt wake-up call, national action roadmap, executive policy recommendations, priority actions, and long-term economic transformation strategies!
