Women of NACo

Women of NACo WON serves as a communications network and issues forum for women county officials active within the

WON:
• organizes special programs, workshops and other events at NACo conferences;
• sponsors speakers to address issues and strategies that are of concern to women officials;
• continually seeks partnerships with communities, government organizations at all levels, and other groups, to improve its effectiveness in issues of concern to its members;
• recognizes women for their outstanding leader

ship and service; and
• sponsors special award and scholarship programs for promising young women who will be tomorrow's leaders.
