CDA Mr. Sharad Raj Aran interacted with Nepali students and met with the Dean and faculty members at Oklahoma State University today. He also engaged with members of the Nepali diaspora in Oklahoma City yesterday.

During the interactions, CDA Aran encouraged the Nepali community and students to contribute to the promotion of Nepal and strengthen engagement with the country. He highlighted the importance of building stronger connections between Nepal and the Nepali diaspora, as well as fostering academic and professional linkages with Nepal.

The Embassy was pleased to welcome a group of U.S. high school students from Leadership Initiatives, based in the United States, in coordination with Georgetown University, for an engaging discussion on the economic, social, and political landscape of Nepal.

During the program, Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Sharad Raj Aran highlighted Nepal’s rich cultural heritage, diverse geography, and varied climate, and encouraged the students to visit Nepal to experience its unique beauty and hospitality firsthand.

Ms. Jenna Sackter, Program Director of Leadership Initiatives and head of the visiting delegation, expressed her appreciation to the Embassy for hosting the interactive session.
