NAPABA’s Immediate Past President AB Cruz III presented the President’s Award to The Asian American Foundation and the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) for their efforts in building the critical infrastructure that is the foundation for supporting and empowering AAPI communities in this country in the wake of the Pandemic and rise in anti-Asian hate. NAPABA also welcomed back former President Bonnie Lee Wolf as she bestowed the 2022 Daniel K. Inouye Trailblazer awards on Deepa Iyer, Paul Uyehara, and Kathy Hirata Chin for their leadership in breaking down barriers, uplifting their communities, and paving the way for future generations of AAPIs to thrive.
