ABA President Reginald Turner has written a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives Ways & Means Committee urging action on H.R. 5167 to extend emergency protection for youth in foster care during the pandemic. This legislation seeks to ensure basic needs for food and shelter are met by extending benefits promised by the Supporting Foster Youth and Families through the Pandemic Act, which is set to expire today.
