We are excited to announce that a glass works maker has joined us! Her stunning creations include glass jewelry, all designed and crafted by her talented hands. Update: We had planned to end the season thereafter our successful Christmas show, which drew in around 10,000 people and resulted in epic sales for our artisans. However, due to popular demand, we scheduled an unscheduled show last Saturday, which turned out to be even more successful than we anticipated. As a result, we have agreed to do one final show this Saturday, at our Logan/Dupont P Street venue. We will be able to accommodate three more artisans which would include fine art ceramics/pottery, and embroidery and gourmet products. The ArtRave Christmas show was a huge success, with 10,000 shoppers in attendance. We couldn't have done it without your support throughout the year. Initially, we thought that it was going to be the last show of the season. However, at the end of the show, our ArtRave artisan family requested one more show, and we decided to go for it!

So, we are excited to announce that there will be an encore presentation at our P. Street N.W. venue, located near the Whole Foods store. The show will take place from 11 am to 4 pm, and many artisans from our Christmas show will participate. This gives you another opportunity to shop and support these talented artists and crafters. We are thrilled to share the success of yesterday's ArtRave event with you. The results were staggering! Instead of describing them, we'll let the photos speak for themselves. Suffice it to say that everyone's sales were in the "epic" range, and we had almost a record-breaking number of shoppers – close to 10,000! If you've never attended one of ArtRave's special events in the past 15 years, you're missing out on something truly remarkable.

This could be our last post before Christmas. Yesterday, we added extra space to our Dupont Circle venue and created 8 more spaces. However, only 3 spaces are still available. It's worth noting that we are on the "Where to Go" event map, which is a big plus for us in promoting our platform. We have some exciting news! Due to high demand, we have expanded our Xmas Extravaganza event, which will take place this Saturday, December 2nd at Dupont Circle. Last week, we added more space to accommodate the high demand, and today, we are thrilled to announce that we have secured additional space for six more artisans. The event now covers two blocks, from Dupont Metro to Mass Ave and all the way to Connecticut Ave, showcasing artisans from many different countries and ethnicities. As planned, there is only one Sunday show left, on December 26th. Followed by the big December 2nd, Christmas "Extravaganza" event, which drew almost 9,000 (see image) shoppers last season. to be held at Dupont Circle We've learned that temperatures this year are going to be similar to last year's low 60s, with the following week in the '50s. Because of this, many of our artisans are pushing us to extend the event beyond Christmas to December 16th. They are starting to wear us down, so stay tuned to see if we decide to crank up the engine a little longer We have one space available this Sunday, and for those who can set up without a tent, we may have a few spots left for the Christmas event. We had an amazing 15th season with only one regular season show, until the grand Xmas Extravaganza. There's no real need to summarize the spectacular season that we had. However, we're thrilled to announce that we've managed to find some extra space for a few more craftspeople for our upcoming show on November 26th and the Christmas event on December 2nd. Also, we have something special planned for the last Sunday show of ArtRaves - an education developer of a children's arts & crafts educational kit. We also have some exciting news to share with you all. After an amazing 15-year run, we are approaching the final season-ending curtain at our Adams Morgan venue on Saturday, November 18th. However, we still have two remaining Sunday shows at our Logan/Dupont venue on November 19th and 26th. We have a few available spaces for those shows, and we would love for you to join us!

But that's not all! Our grand finale Xmas Extravaganza, which drew in 9,000 shoppers last season, will be held at Dupont Circle. As a self-imposed rule, I normally refrain from providing any commentary. However, as we conclude another successful season, marking 15 years of ArtRave, I feel compelled to make an exception. When we started ArtRave, our goal was to act as a facilitator and mentor, with a focus on promoting a rich tapestry of cultures. Over time, we expanded our role and became advocates for the artist community as well. I believe we have been successful to a large extent. What has truly inspired me the most is the past few weeks, during which our platform transformed into a League of Nations, so to speak, with people from many nationalities - Turkish, Iranian, Ukrainian, Brazilian, Colombian, Australian, Romanian, African, and American, to name a few. The best part of this experience was the complete absence of hate. It was all about the spirit of culture, rising up together for at least one day against any negativity out there. Everyone was helping each other, and that was our main goal. By using culture as a tool to lower the temperature of hate and bring in a fresh breath of reason, we have achieved our mission. Thank you to all the artisans who have helped us in this endeavor. I hope this message highlights what can be done to improve humanity. Enough said! It was wonderful to hear that almost all the ArtRave artisans had a successful weekend. Some even mentioned that it was one of their best sales days yet. It's worth mentioning that last Sunday's event had a diverse group of artisans from many different nations coming together for these ArtRave shows! Moreover, we have added a few more artisans this weekend, including a bakery and a copper medalist who creates single-pour coffee makers. (I have had one for 7 years!), a distressed wood framer, more fine artists from Philly, DC & Maryland, and a Kimono dressmaker. We are eagerly looking forward to the Super Bowl of events, ArtRaves Xmas Extravaganza, which will take place on December 2nd at Dupont Circle from 12 to 5 p.m. (last year, it drew 9,000 shoppers). Wow! It's becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between the two highly-attended venues that have equally talented artisans. This Sunday's show was particularly impressive as it took on the character of an international market with people from different ethnicities such as Ukraine, Turkey, Indonesia, South America, Ghana, and Afro-America. It felt like a gathering of the United Nations, where cultural diversity was celebrated. ArtRave knew that showcasing cultures in the right way would be a positive solution to the issues we face today. Attention everyone! ArtRave is taking its show international this Sunday! We have some exciting additions to our roster, including a Turkish coffee vendor and a Turkish fashion designer, which perfectly complements our vintage artisan who has had a remarkable season and is also of Turkish descent. With works from many nationalities, our show is a rich tapestry of culture. We've also added several new artisans, including a wood crafter, a unique floral soap maker, and a specialist in handmade greeting cards for special occasions.

Please note that there are only three more weekends of Saturday and Sunday shows left before the grand finale Christmas show on December 12th at 5 P.M. ArtRave is truly a cultural phenomenon, and today's event was no exception. A few thousand shoppers were in attendance, and the newer artisans were particularly impressed by the platform and the receptive audience. Some artisans even shared that shoppers were taken aback by the depth of talent on display and asked if this was the norm. The response, of course, is to quote Kevin Costner's classic movie, "Field of Dreams": "Build it and they will come." And come they did, from start to finish. Week after week, month after month, ArtRave has consistently lived up to and exceeded expectations. As we enter the last four weeks of the regular season before the Christmas event, which attracts thousands of shoppers, we are still as busy as ever showcasing talented artisans, both established and emerging. This weekend, we have an exciting lineup including more woodcrafters, table makers, sculpturists & fine artists. We also have a vintage candlemaker and several new fashion designers. We are looking for a metal and wood sculpturist, 2 fine artists including satirical art, 2 fashion designers, as well as a touch of well-themed vintage, soap, skincare, and beauty maker, another baker, BBQ, and hot sauce maker. We recently introduced back-in-the-day vinyl record goods, which brought in another few hundred shoppers who also bought from the other assembled artisans. We are now looking for one more vendor for our other venue before it's too late to apply!

As we approach the final six weeks of our Saturday/Sunday shows, we are excited to present some amazing artisans to you. It feels like an award show! First, we would like to express our gratitude to the ArtRave artisans who overcame the challenges of last Sunday's windy weather and produced such positive results. We have been informed that other venues did not fare as well. Second, we extend a big thank you to the DC Area Art Organization for recognizing ArtRave as a top contributor to this fine organization! As the season comes to a close, we are thrilled to have had another successful run that began in April and will end on November 26th. For 15 years, ArtRave has consistently proven its place as one of the premier weekly shows and special events venues. Week after week, year after year, we have delivered successful events, as evidenced by the receipts pictured here. Last Saturday's event was no exception - it was yet another beginning-to-end success! Estimated crowd at 3,000!

What made this event even more special was the positive feedback we received from both veteran and new artisans. The veteran artisans of ArtRave were impressed, saying "Yes, you did it again!" while the new artisans were equally pleased, describing the event as "like 2 shows in one, a weekly & special event, one block long." What stood out the most, however, was the quality of artisans who participated in the event.
