On 12/9 and 12/10, Washington Metropolitan Police Dept., Prince George's County Police Department, Maryland State Police, Forest Heights Police Department, and City of Seat Pleasant Police Dept
conducted a joint border to border impaired enforcement effort along Southern Avenue, SE. The joint operation yielded 17 DUI arrests and 521 citations.

During the initiative, a Prince George's County Police Department officer was struck and the operator was arrested for DUI (BAC .17).

While conducting traffic control for an impaired driving crash, a
Forest Heights Police Department officer was struck by another impaired driver.

Both officers made a full recovery.

In addition to the impaired driving enforcement, the traffic stops resulted in 7 arrests for outstanding warrants, multiple handgun violations, and led to the arrest of the suspects in a recent carjacking.

Thank you to all officers and agencies involved in the initiative! This holiday season we encourage all motorists to #MakeAPlan and never drive impaired.

I am so sorry I also should have said please except my condolences for the loss of your colleague. He was brave and fought to preserve Democracy. Please keep safe You are all doing a wonderful job in the face of adversary.
We watched in horror as your brave Officers fought back the terrorist a few days ago. Just wanted to say that they are amazing and heroic. Please keep safe and all the very best to you all
Good evening. I hope this is okay and possible. My little boy is 8 years old. He woke in the night and came out to our living room. I did not hear him as he is quiet footed. He saw the video of the young officer being crushed. As I watched in tears, his own little heart broke. Deeply. He has been profoundly impacted by this young man because of what was done to him but also because his brother is about this officers age. He is a cancer patient so all my little guy saw was distress. He asked me if he was okay and if he could donate some of his birthday and Christmas money to his recovery like others help his brother. Precious child. I have been trying for days to locate info on this young officer and if a gofundme was available. I apologize for asking at such a terrible time. I know you are all in shock, suffering mentally and physically, exhausted beyond reason. It’s so important to him. If there is a page, if it’s okay to send it our way, could you please private message (for his safety and privacy) the link for me? We have found a few others but he just won’t give up. If not or if you cannot, would you please let him know that a little boy who sure thinks the world of him, prays each night, and looks up to him for his incredible bravery. I am so so sorry. You guys didn’t deserve this. Please know we have you all deeply in our prayers, along with your families. Thank you. May God be with you all.
What does he have planned for Inauguration Day? I shudder to imagine it.
Posts on the "Wimkin" and "Parler" platforms are advocating violent responses to President Biden on Inauguration Day. Your Intelligence bureau officers should take note.
Many were taken by surprise by the events in Washington, but to those who closely follow conspiracy and extreme right groups online, the warning signs were all there.
I sure hope what I'm reading about another Trump Protester thing at the Capitol on Jan 17th is just a rumor. The news says it's on some social media. We at our house, we back the blue!!! Stay safe out there!! 💙🙏💙🙏💙🙏💙🙏
Frank Arthur Navarrete reacted to his own comment: "Scheduled for Sunday, January 17th,"the new circus will consist of more persistent groups" that promote the 2nd amendment as an Article of Faith." Did someone see this post on FB????
