Last weekend, a popular singer with a similar name #TheWeeknd, announced that he would donate $1 Million to Tigray relief efforts. “My heart breaks for my people of Ethiopia,” he said, in an Instagram post that detailed his donation will go to World Food Programme to provide 2 million meals to people in dire need.
