A new chapter is about to begin with the American Law Program!

We’re delighted to welcome a group of talented and motivated individuals joining this exceptional experience.

Welcome, Mirosław Mussur!

Mirosław holds a Master's degree in Law from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and has since pursued postgraduate studies in company law at the University of Warsaw, contract law at the Jagiellonian University, and American law at the Center for American Law Studies (University of Warsaw, in cooperation with Emory University School of Law and Georgia State University College of Law); he is currently completing an LL.M. in International Commercial Law at Kozminski University in Warsaw. A member of the District Bar Council in Rzeszów since 2013, he has been running his own law firm in Krosno since 2018, advising individual clients and commercial entities in criminal, civil, family, and commercial law matters. His primary professional goal is to deepen his expertise at the intersection of Polish, European, and American legal systems, with a focus on international commercial law and cross-border transactions. Mirosław is driven, detail-oriented, and genuinely curious about comparative legal cultures — he approaches every new area of law with the same enthusiasm he brings to the courtroom. Outside of work, he is a passionate basketball fan and NBA follower, an avid reader of American prose and biographies, and a traveller with a particular love for the United States, which he visited in 2019.

We are undoubted that our program will help Mirosław, as much as the rest of the students, to broaden their knowledge and experience in fields that they are interested in!🔥

🇺🇸 As part of the CUA–JU International Business and Trade Summer Law Program, students had the opportunity to explore Kraków’s historic Jewish Quarter in Kazimierz.

🚶‍♀️ During a guided walk through its streets and courtyards, European and American students discovered an important part of the city’s multicultural heritage.

🏛️ It was a chance to learn about Jewish history, local architecture, and the unique atmosphere of one of Kraków’s most unique places.

🇪🇺 Law of the European Union is one of the courses taught during the CUA–JU International Business and Trade Summer Law Program.

⚖️ Led by Marta Kuklo, the course gives European and American students a closer look at how EU law works in practice.

🌍 A great opportunity to understand the European Union not only from a legal perspective, but also as a key part of today’s international environment.

We’re thrilled to welcome a group of ambitious and engaged participants.

Welcome, Jakub Niedziółka!

Jakub is a fifth-year law student at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where he also serves as the President of the Faculty Student Council. Professionally, he has been building his legal career in the video game industry, gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of technology, creativity, and law. His academic interests span denominational law, criminal law, and copyright law. Outside the courtroom, Jakub is an avid gamer — which makes his career choice less of a coincidence and more of a calling. He is also a devoted Tottenham Hotspur fan, meaning he has mastered the art of hoping for the best while preparing for the worst.

We are undoubted that our program will help Jakub, as much as the rest of the students, to broaden their knowledge and experience in fields that they are interested in!🔥
