The DFS Public Health Lab received a truck from CDC to launch the COVID-19 Mobile Testing Unit. Learn more about the program below.
“We realized that there were people out there who needed COVID-19 tests, but they may not be able to get to a doctor’s office or even to one of the drive-up testing sites,” says Cynthia Ogden, who leads a team of researchers at CDC’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
“We also realized that we might be in a perfect position to help those people.”
