Recently, we hosted the 2026 National Leadership Academy, bringing together a cohort of current elected officials and aspiring public servants to hone their leadership skills and build their networks. ⭐️

Over the course of two days, participants learned from campaign experts, heard from a panel of local elected officials, and worked in teams to create a campaign plan based on real-life scenarios. Participants walked away from the training with new tools under their belt, long-lasting connections, and a renewed sense of confidence!

Thank you to Amazon for hosting our training! We'd also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our NLA partners—State Farm, Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Southwest Airlines—for their support, as well as to each of our speakers, trainers, and participants for making this training possible. 👏

Another APAICS Women's Collective Summit in the books! 🤩🌸 Earlier this month, leaders from around the country convened in Arlington, VA for a full day of conversation and connection under the theme, "She Leads, We Rise."

From candid discussions on the importance of representation in leadership and multiracial sisterhood, to interactive sessions on navigating career pivots and maximizing time outside of work, the Summit was a stepping stone for leaders of all backgrounds. We also awarded two trailblazing public servants—MD Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller and Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng—whose dedication continues to inspire us all.

👏 Thank you to Amazon for hosting us, and to our Summit partners—Coinbase and the League of Women Voters—and swag bag donors—Hanalei, Kimly Parc, and Target! We would also like to thank each of our Honorary Co-Chairs, speakers, awardees, panelists, and attendees for making the Summit so special.

Today, we remember the lives lost in the Oak Creek Sikh Temple shooting. This horrific act of anti-Asian & anti-Sikh hate shook our nation, but it did not break our community's spirit.

We reaffirm our commitment to rejecting hate in all forms and ensuring safety for all communities.
