Celtics FC Foundation donates $10K to SOMEโs children
Thanks to the Celtic FC Foundation's โฝ๏ธ generous $10,000 donation, SOME will provide healthy meals for 345 children living in our affordable housing facilities. These meals will provide ๐ the necessary nutrition for our kids to grow ๐ and learn ๐, while reducing the cost ๐ต of food for their parents and caregivers.
New goalkeeper Viljami Sinisalo and Club Ambassador, Roy Aitken, were on hand to present the donation!
๐ฝ๏ธ Helping Feed Families with SOMEโs Food Pantry
In the heart of our community, where grocery stores are scarce and rising inflation strains food budgets, Daryl Wright, Senior VP of SOMEโs Community Outreach, spoke with WUSA 9 at our warehouse. Located at 75 Hanover Place NW, our warehouse provides weekly food distributions (every Wednesday and Friday from 9-11am) to ensure families receive vital support.
Help us combat food insecurity!

Dental Care is Here
Just imagine deciding between buying food for your family or buying a set of dentures for $900. When living on a tight budget, the necessity of eating far outweighs the need for dental hygiene. Thatโs why weโre raising funds to provide free dentures to our dental clinic patients in need.
โI have seen countless people come in experiencing excruciating dental pain,โ said Dr. Jacqueline You, SOMEโs Director of Dentistry. โOur neighbors often live without access to clean water, toothbrushes, and consistent dental care. This leads to pain that broadly impacts a personโs life.โ
