After nerve damage from a brain injury she sustained while in the Air Force left her in a wheelchair, Valerie Rolph began to compete in wheelchair table tennis. Her dreams of competing in the 2020 Paralympics were dashed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. However, after a double mastectomy, this survivor plans to compete in 2024.
