We were pleased to meet today with APUAF, Erasmus+ and representatives of US universities and exchange programs in France to discuss the future of study abroad and Franco-American exchange.

Over 17,000 US students study abroad in France annually. Even given this exceptional year, interest remains high and the desire on all fronts to build lasting Franco-American partnerships is alive. We hope for a robust return to study abroad in the coming academic year as public health conditions around the world allow.

International students and researchers continue to be a priority for the French government, and are permitted to apply for visas and to enter France as an exemption to travel restrictions.

Eight years ago, an American writer named Pamela Druckerman emerged on the national and international scene wearing a beret—somewhat ironically—and wielding a radical theory of child-rearing. Radical, that is, to Americans 🇺🇸, it was completely normal to the French 🇫🇷. In the Season 3 finale of The Thing About France, Liesl Schillinger speaks with writer Pamela Druckerman about finding love in Brazil 🇧🇷, the American infidelity industry 💔 and translating French parenting 👶 secrets for an American audience.

Hey has anyone that has gone through the process send me a message

Hello all. I am not sure how many are waiting a student visa for fall 2020 but I have been waiting a month for mine and still nothing. I submitted my application at VFS Washington DC. I would love to hear from you all. Merci et bonne chance
I’m not getting any of my questions answered until days later! I submitted my application with them a month ago and today received an email from them past their closing time stating that I have to resubmit my application. All I want to ask is do I have to wait another 3 weeks if I resubmit this application?
Hello! If anyone could help answer these questions regarding a Long Stay Visa in France, that would be lovely! Lodging/Attestation d’acceuil from the Mairie: I am applying for a Long Stay Visa in France. On the Visa Application Wizard I read I only need to prove my first 3 months of lodging. However, when I read “upon your arrival in France”, they mention needing proof of living for 1 year AND a “Attestation d’acceuil” which my host has to get from his local Mairie. SO, what’s the deal with this? I also have another question: Intended date of arrival in France: does this have to be EXACT? I don’t want to buy my ticket before being granted a visa. I’ve read that people go to their visa appointment with roundtrip tickets… Traveler’s medical insurance: Do I need it? If so, for 3 months or 1 year? It’s not listed as required anywhere, yet I keep seeing it in blogs Thanks!
How long will it take for the US consulate to issue a student study Visa after the Visa interview? The visa interview is on August 27th and the College in France begins classes on September 10th... is this possible?
Merci Campus France USA for the gift. Allez à vos livres! #CampusFrance #FranceAlumniUsa #FranceUSAAlumniAmbassador
Does anyone have information of the steps to apply for a visa in France in order to play for a professional inline hockey team for a full season?
