DCHA youth recently gathered to celebrate the end of the school year at Nationals Park. âš¾

The outing was part of the Secure the BAG (Behavior, Attendance, Grades) Initiative from DC Mayor's Office on African-American Affairs and DC Mayor's Office of Community Affairs. This program encourages DC students to do their best in school.

Youth were met at the check-in gate with Nationals Swag and seated not far from home plate, getting an up-close experience of the Washington Nationals taking on the SD Padres.

The group was able to eat for free, visit the Kids Fun Zone and even caught a baseball from a player.
