PTM United States extends its heartfelt congratulations to Aisha Wahab on her historic election as the first Afghan American to the United States Congress. Her victory is a proud and inspiring moment for Afghans in the United States and throughout our homeland.
As she assumes this important responsibility, we hope Congresswoman-elect Wahab will use her influential platform to amplify the voices of Afghans, defend their fundamental rights and advocate for their dignity, justice and freedom—both in the United States and in the homeland.
