As we continue our messaging during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month it’s important to know that many agencies within the District of Columiba National Guard contribute to the "all-hands-on-deck" approach to the organizations strategy on resiliency. The DCNG Family Readines Program is part of that team. Program Director Mr. Corwin Smith explains that resiliency training plays a large role in The effort. #DCNationalGuard #BeThere #SPM19 #CapitalGuardians #SuicidePreventionAwarenessMonth #SmalStepsSavesLives

Hello! I want to share an event that is happening in the Viriginia/ Maryland/DC area this coming Friday. It is an event that is helping support veterans and will be great for anyone in the DC area to come to. All of you are invited and if you would pass along to anyone in that area, I would greatly appreciate your help to spread the word! I am a Marine Corps veteran myself and want to make sure the word gets out to veterans, family, and supporters in the area! Event Info: If you're a veteran, active military, or a military family member or supporter in the Virigina/Maryland/DC area, you don't want to miss this special #DrivenToDrive event, a fun event for the whole family this Friday, May 18th! It will be a lot of fun for the whole family, with entertainment and prizes, and is a program that helps injured veterans. Please rsvp at the eventbrite link and get more details there too! All are welcome and encouraged to join for this fun day!
