Wancito Candidate For State Representative, District 108 My story is one of extraordinary perseverance, intellectual curiosity, and a deep commitment to my community. Yet, armed with a bachelor’s degre

Born in Haiti, English was not even a blip on my linguistic radar when I arrived in the United States in 2005. Yet, armed with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of Haiti and an unyielding spirit, I embarked on a remarkable journey that has seen me conquer academic challenges, navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship, and dedicate myself to serving my community through

multiple avenues, including a persistent pursuit of public office.
• From Janitorial Services to Criminal Justice Expertise:
My initial foray into the American landscape was through entrepreneurship. I launched a janitorial company, but quickly recognized the importance of industry knowledge for success. This realization led me to Miami Dade College, where I earned an associate degree in criminal justice, a field that had always piqued my interest. I further honed my expertise at Florida International University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in the same field.
• A Calling to Serve, a Return to Community:
My passion for justice and service led me to pursue a career in law enforcement. I enrolled in Georgia Dekalb County police academy, determined to make a positive impact. However, a strong sense of family responsibility called me back to Florida, forcing me to make the difficult decision of leaving the academy before graduation.
• Building Businesses, Empowering Communities:
Undeterred, I channeled my skills and unwavering spirit into building successful businesses. In 2010, I founded Lion Intelligence & Security Services, Inc., leveraging my criminal justice background to provide essential security services. I further expanded my reach with Intelligence Tax Services, LLC., demonstrating my versatility and acumen.
• A Passion for Writing, a Voice for my People:
Beyond the realm of business, my creativity blossoms in my native language. I am the author of two books available on Amazon.com: "Les Techniques de la Production Ecrites" and "Un Reve Sauvage," inviting readers into the rich tapestry of his imagination and cultural heritage.
• A Persistent Pursuit of Public Service:
I desire to serve my community extends beyond the business world. I have repeatedly run for North Miami City Council, District 3, and Florida State Representative, District 107, demonstrating my unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of those around me.
• Building Bridges, Embracing Collaboration:
In 2022, I recognized the importance of collaboration in achieving my goals. I actively engaged with my State Representative in Tallahassee, seeking common ground and opportunities to work together for the betterment of district 107. This shift in approach reflects my maturity as a leader and my commitment to putting the needs of my constituent’s above personal ambition.
• Running Again in 2024:
This year, I am once again running for State Representative, District 107. My journey, from a young Haitian student to a determined entrepreneur and public servant, is a testament to the power of resilience, lifelong learning, and a commitment to making a difference. My story is an inspiration to those who dare to dream, learn, and build a life richer than circumstance, and his pursuit of public office reflects my unwavering dedication to my community. I am a life tapestry woven from diverse threads, and my story is far from over. As I continue my pursuit of public service in 2024, one thing is certain: my journey will be marked by dedication, resilient State of Florida. Wancito Francius is the founder of LION INTELLIGENCE & SECURITY SERVICES, INC from Dec. 26.2013 to present, INTELLIGENCE TAX SERVICES, LLC from June 26, 2014, to present and Raywant Investments, INC from Sep. 2, 2022, until present.

It has become clear that immigration policy has become the central platform of the Democratic Party.

However, we must look at the facts. Between 2008 and 2010, the Democratic Party had a historic opportunity to fix our broken immigration system. They held the White House, had a strong majority in the House of Representatives, and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. They had the ultimate power to deliver real, permanent immigration reform and they did not do it.

Now that they have lost that power, they are using immigration again as a political tool to regain power, playing on the emotions and hopes of my people.

Our community deserves more than promises during election season. We deserve leadership that tells the truth and fights for real solutions, not just political talking points.

In November 2026, I’m running to make District 108 a place where every family can belong, every worker can rise, and every small business can thrive. I will fight for fair immigration policies, real economic opportunity, affordable housing, and community-first development that keeps our neighborhoods strong—not displaced. This campaign is about power for our people and progress for every part of District 108.
