Represent Malta on the World Golf Stage 🌏⛳️🇲🇹

Are you a competitive golfer with Maltese heritage? The Malta Golf National Team is expanding, and they are looking for talented junior and adult amateur golfers to join their development pipeline.

You do not need to currently reside in Malta or hold citizenship to be considered. They are committed to identifying and supporting golfers of Maltese descent, and there may be pathways available to assist with citizenship for those who qualify for their national programs.

Ambassador-designate Marco Micallef had the pleasure of attending an event in Detroit held on Santa Marija weekend which brought together 200 attendees from the Maltese clubs in Dearborn, Detroit and Windsor.

Many thanks goes to the committees, donors and volunteers of all three clubs for joining forces to continue keeping Maltese culture and heritage alive and strong in the USA 🇲🇹🇺🇸🤝

Il-festa t-tajba ta’ Santa Marija lill-Maltin u ‘l-Għawdxin kollha! 🇲🇹

Hekk kif niċċelebraw din il-festa tant għażiża għalina, qed nikkommemoraw ukoll 84 sena minn Operation Pedestal, magħrufa ukoll bħala il-Konvoj ta’ Santa Marija li fdiet il-Poplu Malti b’riżorsi tant bżonnjużi waqt it-Tieni Gwerra Dinjija. Għaldaqstant hi ukoll okkażjoni li fiha infakkru r-reżiljenza tal-Poplu Malti u Għawdxi.

🇺🇸 Wishing a blessed feast of the Assumption of St Mary to all Maltese and Gozitans!

Today we also mark 84 years since the arrival of Operation Pedestal, endearingly known as the “Convoy of St Mary”, that brought much direly needed supplies to our shores during WWII. Therefore, today we also celebrate the resilience of our People.

The Embassy of Malta to the US participated in a FIFA World Cup photography exhibition organised by the EU Delegation in Mexico, celebrating equality, diversity and inclusivity in the game of football. Malta's entry portrayed the image of a young boy performing a head kick as he overlooks a scenic view of Valletta, as can be seen below.

The exhibition was a great success, with thousands of people having the opportunity to see it in highly visible and strategic locations. In Mexico City, it was displayed on Reforma Avenue, the city’s main and most iconic avenue; in Monterrey, it was located at the Última Milla, just before the stadium where the World Cup matches were held; and in Guadalajara, it was exhibited in the historic centre, very close to the FIFA Fan Zone, all three locations benefiting from a very high flow of people. The three exhibitions were displayed for more than one month.
