We’re on board with this program. It is offered to anyone on the job. Check them out and get started today. Best thing to happen to us. They will come out to your firehouse and work with you. Just give them a call. Thank you O2X.

“New Human Performance Specialist Steve Taylor has made monumental strides since joining the DC Fire Team. In less than a month of being on board, Steve has held almost 40 individual training sessions, specifically tailored to decrease and manage pain for firefighters. Additionally, he has created personalized mobility and corrective exercise programs that will optimize the efficiency and work performance for all firefighters. These programs will be uploaded to the O2X Tactical Performance App and focus on common problem areas, such as the shoulder, hip, knee, and low back.”

“Registered Dietician Tiffany Batsakis’ service in the US Army and extensive nutrition background experience has been tremendous in her understanding of tactical athletes’ job demands. Her primary goal within DC Fire & EMS is to help people eat more nutritious, yet tasty foods, so they feel good, perform optimally, enjoy a healthy life. Additionally, the goal of these efforts is to prevent or delay the onset of some of the chronic diseases firefighters often face, such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. She has really hit the ground running with daily nutrition consultations that are currently booked into the next month! Within the first few weeks, she was already being requested for cooking demonstrations and leading “Breakfast with Tiffany” at the Training Academy. These services will teach firefighters to better fuel themselves, both on the job and off, and can also simplify and improve meal quality at the firehouse.”

Check out our newest ‘Updates From On-Site’ blog highlighting the integration our Human Performance Specialists at the core of a department or unit.
