NACCED was established as an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo) to assist in developing the technical capacity of county agencies to administer these programs.

After postponing a November 5 House vote on the “Build Back Better Act” (see Memo, 11/8), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Congressional Progressive Caucus Chair Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) are pushing to hold a vote this week on the $1.75 trillion package on the House floor.

NACCED Member news: Orange County, FL prepares to build 4 new affordable housing complexes, to help 525 families

“We are the only one with a Trust Fund of this size,” Glasser said. “In Orange County, we have taken the issue seriously and we are doing something about it.”

Orange County is in its final stages to develop four new affordable housing complexes that will ultimately help 525 families in need.
