National Association for County Community and Economic Development NACCED represents county government agencies that deliver community and economic development, and affordable housing programs across the nation.

The National Association for County Community and Economic Development (NACCED) is a national nonprofit organization primarily composed of county government agencies that administer community and economic development, and affordable housing programs. NACCED was established as an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo) to assist in developing the technical capacity of county agencies to administer these programs.

This training will offer strategies and procedures that grantees can apply to their HOME and CDBG programs for the purposes of developing a consistent and thorough monitoring process that will improve their tracking of subrecipient activities, avoid problems of noncompliance, and improve subrecipients’ delivery of services while fulfilling their regulatory monitoring responsibilities.

Yesterday, the House Appropriations Committee released its draft fiscal year FY 2022 THUD spending bill, which will be considered in subcommittee this evening. The FY22 legislation would provide $56.5 billion for HUD, which is an increase of $6.8 billion above FY21 and $314 million below the President’s FY22 budget request.
