تنبيه إلى المواطنين السوريين المقيمين في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية

تؤكد سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في واشنطن أنه لا يوجد أي مكتب قانوني أو مكتب خدمي مخوّل أو معتمد من قبل السفارة لتقديم الخدمات القنصلية أو استقبال معاملات المواطنين.

ونحيطكم علمًا بأن السفارة تواصل حاليًا أعمال إعادة تأهيل مبنى السفارة، وبالتوازي مع ذلك، وحرصًا على تلبية احتياجات المواطنين، باشرت بصورة استثنائية بتقديم الحد الأدنى من الخدمات القنصلية، والمتمثل حاليًا بتصديق الوثائق الصادرة من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بعد استكمال تصديقها أصولًا لدى الجهات الأمريكية المختصة.
وسيتم الإعلان عن استئناف بقية الخدمات القنصلية تباعًا فور الانتهاء من تجهيز مبنى السفارة والقسم القنصلي.

Notice to Syrian Citizens Residing in the United States of America

The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Washington, D.C. wishes to confirm that there are no law firms, service offices, or other entities authorized or accredited by the Embassy to provide consular services or receive applications on behalf of Syrian citizens.

The Embassy further informs citizens that it is currently undertaking the rehabilitation of its premises. At the same time, and in an effort to meet the needs of the Syrian community, it has exceptionally resumed the provision of a limited range of consular services. At present, these are confined to the legalization of documents issued in the United States, provided that they have first been duly authenticated by the competent U.S. authorities.

The gradual resumption of all remaining consular services will be announced as soon as the Embassy building and the Consular Section have been fully prepared and are operational.

التقى القائم بأعمال سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في واشنطن السيد محمد قناطري، سفير جمهورية السودان لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية السيد محمد عبد الله إدريس.
وتناول اللقاء العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تعزيزها بين البلدين الشقيقين، إلى جانب تبادل الرؤى حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك. وأكد الجانبان أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتواصل الدبلوماسي بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Washington, Mr. Mohammed Qanatri, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to the United States of America, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Idris.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them between the two brotherly countries, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic consultation and communication in a manner that serves common interests.

التقى القنصل في سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في واشنطن السيد أحمد المالاتي, القنصل في سفارة جمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية في واشنطن الدكتورة أنيتا ويورث.

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق القنصلي وتبادل الخبرات، ومناقشة عدد من المواضيع ذات الاهتمام المشترك. ويأتي اللقاء في إطار تعزيز قنوات التواصل والتعاون القنصلي وتبادل الخبرات بين الجانبين.

استكمالاً للقاءات الدورية التي تعقدها سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في واشنطن مع أبناء الجالية السورية في مختلف الولايات، قام القائم بأعمال السفارة السيد محمد قناطري برفقة القنصل السيد أحمد المالاتي بعقد لقاءات مع أبناء الجالية السورية في مدينتي أورلاندو وتامبا بولاية فلوريدا.
وتناولت اللقاءات أوضاع أبناء الجالية واحتياجاتهم، والقضايا القنصلية والإدارية، بالإضافة إلى دور الشباب السوري في إعادة الإعمار، وأكد السيد القناطري حرص السفارة على متابعة شؤون المواطنين وتقديم التسهيلات اللازمة لهم، مشيداً بدور الجالية في الحفاظ على الروابط مع الوطن ودعمها في مختلف المجالات.

أجرى القائم بأعمال سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في واشنطن السيد محمد قناطري، يرافقه القنصل السيد أحمد المالاتي، جولة التقى فيها مع أبناء الجالية السورية في لويفيل – كنتاكي، وإنديانابوليس – إنديانا، وشيكاغو – إلينوي، تضمنت لقاءً خاصًا مع الشباب ولقاءً موسعًا مع أبناء الجالية في شيكاغو.
وتناولت اللقاءات أبرز التطورات والقضايا السياسية، والملفات القنصلية والخدمية، وسبل تطوير الخدمات وتسهيل الإجراءات والاستجابة لاحتياجات المواطنين السوريين في الولايات المتحدة.
وأكدت اللقاءات أهمية تعزيز التواصل المباشر مع أبناء الجالية والاستماع إلى تطلعاتهم، والعمل على ترسيخ إطار مؤسسي مستدام للتواصل والتعاون مع أبناء الجالية السورية في مختلف الولايات الأميركية.

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Washington, Mr. Mohammad Qanatari, accompanied by Consul Mr. Ahmad Al-Malati, undertook a tour during which they met with members of the Syrian community in Louisville, Kentucky; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Chicago, Illinois. The tour included a dedicated meeting with young members of the community, as well as an expanded meeting with members of the Syrian community in Chicago.

The meetings addressed the latest political developments and key issues, as well as consular and service-related matters, ways to improve services and facilitate procedures, and efforts to respond to the needs of Syrian citizens in the United States.

The meetings underscored the importance of strengthening direct communication with members of the Syrian community, listening to their aspirations, and working to establish a sustainable institutional framework for communication and cooperation with Syrians across the various U.S. states.

شارك القائم بأعمال سفارة الجمهورية العربية السورية في واشنطن السيد محمد القناطري، اليوم الخميس، في اجتماع طاولة مستديرة نظّمه معهد نيو لاينز للاستراتيجية والسياسات، بالشراكة مع مجلس سياسات الشرق الأوسط وفريق Alpheratz، بعنوان: «الانتقال الحكومي وبناء الانخراط الدبلوماسي في سوريا»، وذلك بحضور عدد من الخبراء والأكاديميين.

كما شارك عبر الاتصال المرئي من دمشق مدير المعهد الدبلوماسي في وزارة الخارجية السورية، السيد ياسر الجندي، حيث استعرض رؤية المعهد واستراتيجيته في تأهيل الكوادر الدبلوماسية وتطوير العمل الدبلوماسي.

وناقش المشاركون سبل تعزيز الانخراط الدبلوماسي لسوريا وبناء شراكات فاعلة مع المجتمع الدولي، إضافة إلى استعراض التحديات والفرص المرتبطة بهذه المرحلة.

Mr. Mohammad Al-Qanatri, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Washington, participated today, Thursday, in a roundtable discussion organized by the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, in partnership with the Middle East Policy Council and the Alpheratz Group. The session, titled “Governmental Transition and Building Diplomatic Engagement in Syria,” was attended by a number of experts and academics.

Joining virtually from Damascus, Mr. Yasser Al-Jundi, Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented an overview of the Institute’s vision and strategy for training diplomatic personnel and advancing diplomatic practice.

Participants discussed ways to enhance Syria’s diplomatic engagement and build effective partnerships with the international community, in addition to reviewing the challenges and opportunities associated with this phase.
