Ohioans deserve more than to have their SNAP benefits stolen by fraudsters chasing a quick payday.

I’m proud to see Senator Rick Scott introduce my SNAP Fraud Reporting Act in the Senate! This bill will enhance transparency in our nation’s SNAP program, protect benefits for the Buckeye families who depend on them, and ensure USDA has the tools to hold states accountable for the proper use of taxpayer dollars.

Congress intensifies fight against SNAP fraud with new legislation and enforcement efforts.

I was glad to see provisions from my MAGA Act be included in the FY27 NDAA that recently passed out of the House Armed Services Committee! America’s military cannot be dependent on foreign companies or supply chains, and my Make American Guns Again (MAGA) Act would help prevent that.

This bill would require the Department of War to submit a report showing the prevalence of small arms and light weapons used by America’s military that were either manufactured outside the U.S. or domestically by a subsidiary of a foreign-owned entity. It would additionally require the DoW to make recommendations for procuring more weapons from companies that are U.S.-owned, operated, and based on our own soil.

If our military’s weapons supply chain is not secure, neither is our nation’s future. I will continue fighting in Congress to ensure our warfighters have reliable, American-made equipment so they’re equipped to defend our freedoms for generations to come 🇺🇸

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) applauded the inclusion of his MAGA (Make American Guns Again) Act in the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that passed through the House Armed Services Committee on Thursday, June 4.

Our country’s elementary schools should be havens of learning, not hives for woke indoctrination.

Proud to see SCOTUS’s ruling to restore parents’ right to play the primary role in their children’s education!

I was humbled to join my Ohio colleagues in a moment of silence to lift up the victims of the senseless gun violence that occurred in Toledo over the weekend.

We are grateful to the first responders for their swift intervention and stand together against violence of any kind in our Buckeye communities.

American families are the most precious cargo on our roads, and keeping them safe should be our top priority.

As Co-Chair of the bipartisan Congressional Trucking Caucus, I am proud to co-lead a resolution with Rep. Shomari Figures supporting the designation of a national road safety week. With our trucking industry moving billions of tons of freight every year, road safety is a shared responsibility between passenger vehicle drivers, truck drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

I’m proud to stand with Rep. Shomari Figures, Rep. Mike Bost, Congresswoman Dina Titus , Rep. Harriet Hageman, Representative Marcy Kaptur, Congressman Jefferson Shreve, Congressman Addison McDowell, and Congresswoman Mary Miller to promote best practices on the road so families and truckers alike can reach their destinations safely.

This afternoon, Charity and I ventured out to the National Mall in Washington, DC to pay our respects to the heroes of WWII. We had to stop and check the progress on the Reflecting Pool, and it’s looking great! I’m glad to see it brought back from the disgraceful condition it was in prior to President Trump taking office. We also saw the work that is ongoing by the National Park Service to clean up and expand the Lincoln Memorial.

President Trump promised to make our nation’s Capitol safe and beautiful again, and I’m happy to confirm he’s doing just that!

82 years ago today, Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in one of the most consequential operations of World War II.

We are forever grateful to the brave servicemembers who risked their lives in the name of liberty, many of whom never returned home.

Today and every day, we honor the American heroes who defended the freedoms we still enjoy decades later.

Through H.R. 8646, the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agency Appropriations Act of 2027, Republicans are making critical investments in American agriculture, continuing to fund broadband expansion programs, and providing funding for critical community projects in districts like mine.

I am proud to support it and urge the House to pass it to benefit Buckeye families, farmers, and businesses.

I was honored to join Clermont County Sheriff Chris Stratton, County Prosecutor Mark Tekulve, Commissioner David Painter, Coroner Brian Treon, and Chief Coroner’s Investigator Ken Mullis recently to share how the Sheriff Department’s SAFE Unit expansion will help combat crime across our region.

My office has been working to secure $1 million in community project funding for this critical lab to enable law enforcement to solve crimes faster through quicker digital forensics processing and data analysis.

The SAFE Unit will get dangerous criminals off our streets, equip law enforcement with the tools they need to do their jobs, and ensure our southern Ohio is a safe place to live and raise a family for generations to come!

This weekend I sat down with sheriffs and police chiefs from across OH-02 to hear about the needs they’re seeing in our community and discuss how we can best serve southern Ohio’s most vulnerable counties.

I will always Back the Blue, fight to equip the hardworking men and women of our law enforcement with the tools they need to do their jobs, and help ensure our communities are safe places to live and raise a family for generations to come.
