This month we're celebrating a special milestone for Ted as he marks 2 years of full-time service with our team!

While Ted officially joined us full-time two years ago, he brought with him many years of valuable experience, knowledge, and dedication that have made a lasting impact on our organization and the people we serve.

In addition to his role with our team, Ted proudly serves our district as a Community Paramedic, helping connect residents with resources, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening the health and well-being of our community.

Ted's professionalism, compassion, and commitment to service are evident in everything he does. We are grateful for his contributions, proud to have him on our team, and look forward to many more years of working together.

Please join us in congratulating Ted on his 2-year anniversary!

We are a little behind in our posts from last month. Our team had the privilege of attending Washington High School's graduation and celebrating the incredible Class of 2026!

We were honored to watch all the graduates walk across the stage and begin the next chapter of their lives.

Congratulations to all the graduates! We wish you success, happiness, and exciting adventures as you begin this next chapter. The future is bright, and we can't wait to see where it takes you!

🚑 A Special Thank You to American Legion Post 128 and the Parker Hannifin Foundation! 🚑

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to American Legion Post 128, through the Parker Hannifin Foundation Community Outreach Grant, for their generous donation of $2,000 to our ambulance district.

Thanks to this support, we were able to purchase a new piece of advanced training equipment: a SALAD (Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy Airway Decontamination) intubation manikin.

This innovative training manikin allows our paramedics to practice managing one of the most challenging aspects of airway management—performing an intubation when fluids are present in the airway. The manikin simulates real-time vomiting, bleeding, and other airway contaminants, creating a realistic training environment that closely mirrors situations our crews may encounter in the field.

Intubation is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) skill performed by paramedics and can be a lifesaving intervention for critically ill or injured patients. Airway contamination is a common complication during these emergencies, making realistic training essential for maintaining proficiency and improving patient outcomes.

This equipment will allow our providers to train in a safe, controlled environment while building the skills and confidence needed to manage difficult airway situations when seconds matter most.

The generosity of organizations like American Legion Post 128 and the Parker Hannifin Foundation directly supports our mission of providing high-quality emergency medical care to our community. We are incredibly grateful for their investment in our training, our providers, and ultimately the patients we serve.

Thank you for helping us continue to advance our education and preparedness for the community we are proud to serve.

We are so glad they had a blast! We love seeing the smiles on their faces.
