Monday in the South, and it's HOT!! Come on in and soak up our COLD AC and participate in these special activities this week:

~ Advanced Directives & Living Will workshop. Monday the 8th at 2:45pm
~ Learn about Genealogy, Thursday the 11th at 11:00am
~ FREE 2nd Friday Movie, Friday the 12th at 2:00pm, social hour at 1:00pm
~ CLOSING 4pm on FRIDAY for the downtown Summer Festival!

As always, age 55+ welcome, and FREE to participate. Come on down and join us!

****URGENT CENTER UPDATE****
Our elevator is on the fritz again - and will be down/inoperable for an undetermined time. The stairs are 100% open and working, though! We apologize for the inconvenience, and the repair company is already hot on the case getting the repairs done as they are able. Questions? Call us at 252-975-9368.

It's a Monday-Tuesday for me (I was off yesterday) so i'm trying to ease myself back into the senior center swing of things - - a reminder for an "everyday" activity, our FREE blood pressure checks. Every THURSDAY we'll check ANYONE'S blood pressure for FREE - any age, any person. Just walk on in, and we'll take care of you. We provide a free bp check, we'll also check you blood oxygen supply and your pulse rate. We'll even write it down on a nice form so you can track it over a few months. All for FREE. So get on down here on Thursdays and get your blood pressure taken!

The upstairs AC is working fine again - all rooms and activities in the glassed-in area upstairs are back in the saddle again!

Hey all! We are looking for a volunteer to bring newsletters to Bath and Belhaven for us 6x a year (every other month). Is there anyone that could help? :)
