Denmark is green and we are becoming even greener...

🍀🇩🇰💚 Great & Green NEWS. 67.3 percent of Denmark's electricity consumption in 2017 came from renewable energy. This is an increase of 9.9 points compared to the previous year. At the same time Denmark’s consumption of coal fell by 25 percent. By 2030, will have phased out coal completely.

Large wild fires are causing life threatening conditions in California. Mandatory evacuations have been ordered in several inland and coastal areas, including Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. Danish travellers should closely follow local news and comply with directions of local authorities. Denmark National Day

Only 10 days ago I had the pleasure of joining the Danish Foreign Minister at his meeting with Mike Pompeo at U.S. Department of State discussing the important and good relations between Denmark and the US. Thank you, Secretary of State, for your recognition of Denmark's Constitution Day June 5. It means a lot 🇺🇲️🇩🇰️

Yesterday I signed this agreement and I'm looking forward to a prosperous and green collaboration with the city of Pittsburgh

This is a 🇩🇰️🇺🇲️ WIN-WIN. The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania wants to create a sustainable energy roadmap and have asked Denmark to assist. On behalf og the Danish government we are both proud and excited about this new agreement with Mayor of Pittsburgh Bill Peduto and University of Pittsburgh.
Denmark knows how to create secure energy supply, reduce the greenhouse gas emissions AND at the same time furthering economic development.
