TDIU Explained
A key point for high-impact claims: Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability (TDIU) can pay a veteran the full 100% rate ($3,938.58/month for a single veteran in 2026) even if their combined schedular rating is below 100%. This applies if service-connected conditions prevent substantially gainful employment, regardless of rating thresholds.

Please call the Washington County Veterans Affairs office if you have any questions. (724-228-6926).
