We will be going to Eastern 4-H Center June 21-26 and youth ages 8-12 at the time of camp are welcome to join us!
The cost for the week is $450.

Supporting Youth that Participated in the 4-H Livestock Show

Due to the weather on March 12, we had to cancel the sale that evening. If you would like to contribute to youth that participated in our show, you are still able to do that even though we did not have a formal auction. Resource Conservation Workshop (RCW)
🍀🐌🍀🥕🍀
RCW is a summer program for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Beaufort County students. RCW is a weeklong camp with daily field trips at NC State. Students will gain hands-on exposure to conservation fields, including wildlife, forestry, soils, hydrology and agriculture. The date is June 14-19. Applications are due by March 31. Horticulture Science Camp
🍀🍄🍀🌳🍀
High school students are invited to spend a week at NC State University climbing trees, grafting tomatoes, snacking on raspberries, discovering new genes and so much more. The Horticultural Science Summer Institute is a residential, hands-on, pre-college program designed to engage youth into the many career opportunities within horticulture. Camp dates are July 5-10. Registration Deadline is April 1.

If you have old pesticides (NOT FERTILIZERS OR PAINT, ETC.) that need to be disposed of, we will have a collection day here at NC Cooperative Extension Beaufort County Center (155 Airport Road, Washington) on Tuesday March 17th from 10AM to 2PM.

NCDA personnel will be on hand to help with the collection.

If you have containers larger than 5 gallons, let Rod Gurganus (252-943-5632) know asap so arrangements can be made.
