Please do not drive around barricades, they are there for a reason. Barricades are out because water is across the road, whether you can see it from the barricade or not, it’s there. We have placed several out, but we cannot get to every road. Some places will not have barricades, so watch for water. DO NOT drive through the water. Turn around.

Known places to have water over the road: (This list is being updated as we find them)

Deer Rd right off highway 36

Bismark - 2 miles north of Haddam

21st & Indian is getting close to being under water

18th Rd & National - 18th is under water to East and West

Osage Rd near 18th Rd

National Rd near 18th

Gypsum & 20th - north of there is under water

Just East of Deer & 20th Rd

24th Rd between Meridian and Arrowhead

*There are probably many more that we haven't found yet*

Barricades will likely be left up all weekend as more rain is expected. If there is no water running across the road, know that there's probably scours and wash outs behind the barricade from where the water was and might be again.

If you live along Mill Creek - know that it is coming out of the banks already. Be prepared.

On the bridge between National and Osage on 1st Rd - traffic will reduced down to 1 lane as we make repairs today. This repair will take a few days.

Just West of Hanover on North Spence bridge over Mill Creek - please be patient and give our guys room on the bridge to remove a log jam. Please be patient and watch for them.

Update: This is now open!

Today for most of the day, Osage Rd will be closed from 10th to 11th for a culvert replacement. It should be open by 5:30 tonight.
