Attached is the March 2026 issue of Grazing Bites.
Before you move on, I want to personally encourage you to consider attending the Southern Indiana Grazing Conference on March 13 in Odon.
March is decision season on most farms. Fertilizer plans are being finalized, and grazing rotations are being mapped out. This conference focuses on practical strategies you can apply immediately — improving soil health, extending grazing days, and reducing purchased inputs.
This year’s speakers include Peter Byck, Dr. Peter Ballerstedt, Barry Fisher, and Dr. Greg Halich — nationally recognized voices in regenerative grazing, soil health, and farm profitability.
Pre-registration is $40 through February 28 (online or postmarked by that date). Early registration is encouraged.
I rarely suggest taking a day away from the farm unless I truly believe it will be worthwhile. With this lineup, I believe it will be time well spent.
