As the colder weather approaches, the City of Washington Parks & Recreation Department will begin the process of winterizing and closing park bathrooms for the season.

📚 LITTLE LIBRARY AT MILLER-POST 📚

The Little Library at Miller-Post is officially stocked and ready for visitors! Books are available for everyone to enjoy, and we’re excited to share that it will also be receiving some field guides. 🌿📖

You can find this Little Library, along with other Little Free Libraries in the area, on the Little Free Library app!

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this project possible. Your time, support, and generosity helped bring this special project to life.

We know Granny Miller would be very excited to see this project come to life and bring a love of reading, learning, and community to the park. ❤️

Stop by, grab a book, leave a book, and enjoy a little reading in the park!

♿️ New ADA signage at the Riverfront!

The ADA signs at the Riverfront parking lot were replaced with new signs this afternoon! It’s great to see the area getting refreshed and accessibility signage being kept clear, visible, and up to date.

Another small improvement that helps make the Riverfront welcoming and accessible for everyone in our community! 💙
