It might've been toasty, but that didn't stop us from kicking off our 2026 Summer Library Program with a roar! ๐Ÿฆ–

Thank you to everyone who braved the heat - nearly 200 of you! ๐Ÿคฉ Pamlico Joe and Clean Water Flow put on an amazing show, Pelican Snoballs served up the perfect beat-the-heat treat, and a lot of dinosaur eggs went home with their new families. (Did yours hatch yet? ๐Ÿ‘€)

And a huge thank you to our staff and volunteers! Events like these wouldn't be possible without your dedication, effort, and sweat (literally!).

We can't wait to have even more fun with all of you throughout the summer! Don't forget to check our calendar for all of our upcoming events.

(P.S. Be on the lookout for even more photos from today's Kick-Off coming soon!)
