Advance Your Career in Wastewater Treatment:

Ready to prepare for your Pennsylvania DEP wastewater treatment operator exam or earn continuing education credits? The Washington County College Center’s DEP-Approved Wastewater Treatment Operator Training provides 180 hours of hands-on training and classroom instruction to help current wastewater operators build their skills and meet DEP requirements.

Participants will receive:

•Automatic enrollment in the PA DEP wastewater exam held on campus
•Comprehensive exam preparation
•Hands-on training and classroom instruction
•Support in meeting DEP continuing education requirements
•Site tours of a wastewater treatment plant

Training dates: March 16, 2027 – October 21, 2027
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6–9 p.m.
Tuition: $2,450 plus a $250 lab fee — $2,700 total
