***UPDATE*** As of 8:10 pm, the Tornado Watch has been cancelled early for McClain County and much of central Oklahoma. The severe weather threat is over for our area for the night.

Good Wednesday afternoon, McClain County. A Tornado Watch has been issued for much of central and eastern Oklahoma until 9 pm on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026. Please ensure that you have multiple ways to receive tornado warning information and review your sheltering plans this afternoon. It is highly probable that McClain County may be cleared from this watch well before 9 pm, but through at least early evening, we will have a severe weather threat.

You may have already seen our new truck out around town, but we’re excited to officially introduce our brand new Engine 1!

This pumper tanker is designed to serve a dual role as both an engine and a water supply unit, carrying an impressive 3,000 gallon water tank to support our operations.

We’re proud of this build and grateful for the opportunity to put it to work serving the community of Washington.

We’ll make sure to share this flyer again closer to the actual date, but please go ahead and mark your calendars! Rumor has it that David Perry might have some cinnamon rolls there, and I know my son sure loves those.

03/30/2026 McClain County has extended the burn ban for an additional 2 weeks.

🚨No outdoor burning is allowed.

🚨 If you are welding or doing any outdoor work that could result in a spark, be cautious and take the extra steps to have a water source near your working area.
