WCSD's new teachers got their first look at the schools, people and community they are joining this week during the district’s two-day New Teacher Orientation. 🧙‍♂️ 💫

Along the way, they heard some advice for the years ahead -- surround yourself with people who help you grow, remember why you chose education and be that person for someone else.

📣 Taft Elementary families: New Student Orientation has been rescheduled to Monday, August 31, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Taft Elementary School’s New Student Orientation has been rescheduled to Monday, August 31, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The additional time will allow staff to complete final preparations following summer renovations and ensure the building is ready to welcome students for the new school year.

Washingtonville High School welcomed incoming freshmen and their families today for orientation, and the house was packed! Students learned about the variety of programs and resources available, received their locker assignments, took a group photo on the new field and much more.
