Last week I attended Washington Public Ports Environmental seminar. The Port has an environmental policy. This conference gave us a framework to pursue a new approach to our environmental development. I will continue to advocate for a strong environmental policy by supporting alternative energy sources, solar panels, and EV charging stations at all new Port developments.
To ensure our environmental policy I am asking you to support my re-election campaign.

As you all know, our beloved Columbia River Gorge has been damaged by fire, it will recover. However, our Gorge Communities have been hit hard. Some businesses
may not survive the winter. Though the hiking trails remain closed, the Gorge businesses are needing our help. Please take your family and friends and visit those hard-hit places. Shop, eat, wine-taste, visit a museum or art gallery. Many employees were left without an income and need our help. Lets show them how much we care and appreciate all they have to offer as we enjoy our beautiful Columbia River Gorge.

Last nights Port Commission meeting was excellent!!!

We opened up the conversation for public input, workshop style, in regards to the port waterfront land development.

Thank you to all that offered suggestions.

We feel that we are moving in the right direction but we represent the citizens of the community and without your input it makes our job difficult. Thanks for your input and encouragement to move ahead.
