Everyday we are grateful to have our EMS people on our department as they do SO much at every single call. They're the glue that holds the department together and we are so grateful for the time and effort they put towards our department. From hours on top of hours of training yearly to all those calls in the middle of the night, to making sure the truck is stocked with everything needed and its all up to date, we are thankful for you! So join me in Thanking all our EMS providers on Washta's Department!

THANK YOU!!! Our local phone and Internet provider went above and beyond for their 100th Anniversary of providing service to our area! They made a donation of $10,000 to our department to help in the purchase of a new pumper truck! What an amazing gesture and we are very grateful! Thank you so very much WesTel Systems!! (Sorry not the best picture, darn sun 😁) Tyler Woltman, Levi Klingborg, and Adam and Albie Glienke accepted the check. Thanks Again WesTel!

Those words don't seem to be enough for the support given to our small-town fire department. It surprises us year after year how much support you folks give to us, and for that we are extremely grateful! Even after having to move it back a week and change the day of the week, you still come out in droves to support us so Thank you!!
Also a huge Thank you to Michael's Foods, Thrivent Financial, and Iowa Pork for their generous donations as well! Their generosity means everything!
Keep your eyes peeled for late August time frame we will be doing a second breakfast this year since it seems to be a hit!
