Laughter, of course, is the best medicine -- but it does NOT work on fires. When wildfires go viral (as they do in Alaska every summer) we need expert firefighting crews on the case. Believe us, jokes are pretty much useless.

But that doesn't mean we can't do something to help. Rubber Ptarmigan is suiting up with the blazingly funny Damien Speranza, a comedian AND firefighter, for the Comedy for a Cause AK fundraiser tour -- standup shows across Alaska benefitting Alaskan fire crews.

Our $1,000 donation from Focus Coffee Company! Thank you so much for your generosity! This donation will go towards our benevolent fund, which supports local first responders facing financial hardship due to medical emergencies, injuries, natural disasters or unexpected life events. We couldn’t do what we do without such a supportive community!

Thank you EVERYONE who showed out for our local firefighters this past Sunday, to show our appreciation and support!!
