Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority is planning a road called West Susitna Access. We just heard about this project today, after the Mat-Su Borough had an assembly meeting to approve a $50,000 budget for AIDEA's public outreach. There is a 2nd assembly meeting for public testimony on 12/21/2021.

This project will affect the remote cabins in the area, as well as give access to state lands. There is discussion of public access only going so far, and then private access to the mining companies beyond that. Please take the time to research the project and give your input whether you agree or oppose the project.

Alaska riders are just as in tune with nature, perhaps even more, as anyone else. Harassing wildlife is a crime in Alaska.
