Our deepest gratitude to our community members who contacted us with donations for the Little Free Library (Charter #141424) at the Wassaic Commons. We have a lovely book selection for ages newborn through adult. Take a book, leave a book, share a book, love a book. Always free. Never for sale. We look forward to sharing our books with you at the Wassaic Commons Farmers Market, and of course, at Boyce Park. We do ask that you be courteous to your neighbors and to our Stewards and limit your selection to 2 at a time, please.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we will be able to restock the Little Free Library at the Wassaic Commons this weekend. Look for new titles starting in Friday!

Our Little Free Library in the Wassaic Commons Farmers Market is in need of book donations, especially for children and young readers. We had quite a number of readers perusing the shelf over the weekend and it was a popular feature at the market. The childrens books are almost gone, so we need to replenish those. We do have a space on site to hold extras and "back stock". If you have books you're purging that are in good condition and come from smoke-free homes, please send us a message or text and we will make arrangements to get them. Hello, community! We need your help, please! We have opened a Seasonal Little Free Library at the Wassaic Commons Farmers Market and we are in need of books for ages newborn (like board books) through adult. We find that we always are in need of children's books and books for teens. The LFL is a tan rolling book cart that (for now) is by my booth at Akasha's Journey. We will be moving it to an accessible place in the barn soon. The little library will be accessible when the market is open (Friday evenings 4-8pm, Saturday & Sunday mornings from 10am-2pm). Books can be dropped off to Maryalyce at Akasha's Journey's market table. Thank you so, so much!

We are so excited! We are opening a new location at the Wassaic Commons Farmers Market! We already have our charter number. Right now we need your help! To help us get up and running, please contact us 1st, and drop off your books to Maryalyce Merritt at the Harlem Valley Compassion Connection table. We will be open Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm. We will let you know when we get our LFL on the official LFL map!
