I've been thinking about this name for years! I remember explaining it to my hubby, my kids and my mom! I told about 2 others.. Kept quiet... didn't know exactly how to go about it, I knew what I wanted to do but I didn't know how to start it.. I've seen a lot of people struggling, from losing their job, their home, their car, no money to put food on the table... I've helped people from getting evicted, even though I was also the one starting Evictions as well while doing Property Management but for different reasons.
One thing I did know is that if I didn't register the business or the name I would never move forward....fast forward to 2023 registered the business, applied for EIN, moved to a new office with bigger space to fit what we want to do.
H.O.P.E's goal is to help others in need. Everyone needs a lending hand without having to repay them. This is something that keeps me going, If I were able to pay for the homeless to live, the ones struggling help with clothes and the ones hungry with a little food why not? We throw these things out all the time !!
2023 was the most difficult year for me but in a different way... I know confusing right? I'll explain one day for right now I just need to continue doing my good deed regardless of what anyone says or has happened. There are so many people in need and we are here judging instead of lending a FREE HAND. Don't kick someone when they are already down, instead offer them a genuine helping hand.
H.O.P.E wants to be able to provide and is accepting the following:
♡ Monetary donations (link to be uploaded soon)
♡ Food Bank (cannes items, boxed items, {non perishable foods}, meal kits in a box, etc.. we will accept frozen foods when we get a freezer or big fridge)
♡ Clothing gently used (men, women, kids, footwear)
♡ Housing (referrals to different programs we are aware of)
♡ Help with a bill (as donations come in we want to help a family in need, proof of hardship needed as we really want to help those who are in serious situations)
♡ Furniture (any except for mattress or box spring as we would like to orivide new ones to our families)
♡ Household appliances (dishes, utensils, pots, pans, cups, coffee maker, can opener, blender, toaster, microwave)
♡ Resume help (looking for a job? Need a computer? We will help)
♡ Assisting applicant with documents (need to apply for foodstamps, health insurance or cash assistance online? Don't have a computer or aren't computer savvy? No worries, we have your back!)
We also accept ink and printing paper
