Brain Injury Agency of Vermont Creating a better future for all Vermonters affected by brain injury through prevention, education, advocacy, and support.

BIAVT's current services include:

* Information, Referral & Assistance Helpline for survivors, family members, professionals & others seeking info on brain injury services and resources in Vermont. Call during business hours.

* Support groups for brain injury survivors, family members & caregivers; currently meet in 8 locations across the state and virtually/online

* Neuro-Resource Facili

tation: One-on-one help with securing needed benefits & services for survivors

* Support to military veterans who have been exposed to blasts on the battlefield & to medical & other providers who serve our nation's veterans

* Early identification & training for youth sports coaches on concussions & safe return to play practices for young athletes

* Advocacy in Legislature & executive branch for improved services and support for brain injury survivors in Vermont

* Free on-site training for school staff & other providers on brain injury

* Present Vermont's annual Brain Injury Conference

* Publish quarterly newsletter & website (www.biavt.org)
