Faith in action was truly felt this Wednesday. 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Faith in Action: Breaking the Silence on Mental Health as we brought together Black churches, maternal health advocates, community partners, and residents for a meaningful afternoon of connection, resources, and conversation.

This event reminded us how important it is to create safe spaces where mental wellness, faith, and community care can come together. Special thank you to Germaine Lawrence of Healing Nest Therapy Services, LLC, our participating organizations, and everyone who helped make this gathering possible.

Together, we continue breaking the silence and building stronger support systems for our community.

Today, on World Maternal Mental Health Day, we recognize the importance of supporting mothers and birthing people not only physically, but mentally and emotionally throughout pregnancy and postpartum. 🤍

Maternal mental health conditions impact countless families, yet many continue to suffer in silence due to stigma, lack of access, and inequities in care. Through awareness, advocacy, and community support, we can help create spaces where mothers feel seen, heard, and supported.

Mental health is maternal health.
