We are so excited to announce that we now have copies of this year's Vermont Reads book available at the library! Stop by the help desk to pick up a copy for free!

The Vermont Reads book this year is Charity & Sylvia by Vermont Cartoonist Laureate Tillie Walden! Charity & Sylvia follows the lives of Charity Bryant and Sylvia Drake as one of the first openly q***r couples in America and Vermont! It is a beautiful graphic novel showcasing life, love, and religion in the 19th century!

We will have some wonderful programs based around this book so stay tuned for those!
